The Enhancing Life Project

A non-profit home, Southmayd is funded by an endowment, and is committed to sustaining the philosophy of subsidizing over 50% of the true cost of living for each resident. Although this is a wonderful gift that we are able to offer our residents, it also presents some economic challenges as well. Due to the age of this beautiful home, upgrades and replacements are inevitable and costly.

Established in 2012, the Southmayd Home Enhancing Life Project is an initiative seeking donations and partnerships that help maintain the century old tradition and supplement the maintenance costs.

Contributions help enhance residents’ lives by upgrading their living accommodations. As a result of recent generosity to the fund, Southmayd was able to achieve the goal of updating lighting throughout the interior and exterior of the home.

The coming years, we will be concentrating on updating the flooring and the bathrooms throughout the house. With the continued support of our donors, we are sure that we will be able to accomplish these goals and make Southmayd Home a brighter and updated atmosphere for the residents.

Southmayd Home is grateful for the generosity shown over the years. Each gift made has played a critical role in enhancing the lives of our residents.
